Daingerfield Island is one of Alexandria, VA’s awesome parks. Located right on the Potomac River, it’s picturesque waterfront views are perfect for an anniversary session. At the junction of Four Mile Run and the Potomac, Daingerfield Island hosts sailing, fishing, and field sports, along with a popular restaurant. The 106-acre site is no longer an island, and is easily accessible from the George Washington Memorial Parkway or the Mount Vernon Bike Trail.

This stunning venue is perfect for this timeless and elegant wedding. The incredible and historic architecture creates a feeling of wonder and opulence. The Memorial’s entrance was inspired by the Parthenon, giving a classic and historic look. The ceremony site had a pinkish glow from lighting, creating a romantic atmosphere. The couple were married on stage and their guests sat in stadium seating, perfect for many guests. The reception was held in another room, still filled with magnificent columns and marble floors.
