Riverside on the Potomac

This fantastic venue is in hot demand, and for good reason! It’s set on 80 acres with views of the Potomac, and has a wide variety of spaces available, for whatever style and setting the bride and groom prefer. Capable of accommodating hundreds of family members and friends, everyone has space to spread out, among the lush greenery, water features and historic structures. 

The Riverside on the Potomac Wedding

Justin and Christina’s spring wedding was held in late April and took full advantage of all of the great perks that this venue offers. Their outdoor ceremony was gorgeously coordinated, and the indoor reception was equal parts stunning and sophisticated. They added in lots of unique features that spoke to their individual personalities, topping off what was already a great setting. 

Their more than 200 guests certainly seemed to enjoy themselves! The fun cocktail reception in the historic horse stable earned all smiles, and the singing circle performed by Christina’s sorority sisters was a lovely surprise. For all the fun, though, there were plenty of touching and tender moments throughout the day (including Justin’s dad losing a bet between groom, father and son over who would cry first!).

Christina is a Leesburg, native, who owns Happily Hitched, a wedding coordinating and design business.  We were quite flattered (and a little nervous) considering she does this for a living and chose us!  Leesburg was also their choice for their engagement shoot!
