Sound Setup

  • The cleanest (as long as there is not interference in the speaker or HIS) and fastest way to get audio is plug the recorder directly to the speaker, but you might need a sound attenuator. *Check photo for reference.

  • The most common scenario will be to ask the DJ to allow us to connect either 1/8 TRS or RCA cable to the sound console.

  • Make sure you do a mic check and you see the levels moving on the recorder display, WITH THE MICROPHONE THAT WILL BE USING FOR SPEECHES.

  • Ceremonies usually have a small mixer with RCA output with is label as “tape”.

RECORD SETTINGS:
24Bit
48Khz
Audio Limited “ON”
No Low pass filter
Audio Safe Track if supported.
