Burke Lake Park
The beautiful setting of Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, Va., was the perfect backdrop for Victor and Kaitlin’s engagement shoot! The lake, charming train station and tracks, and colorful carousel all worked together to provide a venue that was one part vintage chic, one part rustic and woodsy.
The Bride and Groom
Kaitlin and Victor are set to be married next June at The Woodlands, a gorgeous wedding venue within Algonkian Regional Park. The two share a love of teaching — Victor is the Band Director at Mayfield Intermediate School in Manassass, while Kaitlin teaches first grade. For this shoot, Victor handmade a few fun signs for the couple to hold, including one with the couple’s engagement hashtag, #soontobesouza!
