Surrounded by grand architecture, the stunning light installation connecting the East and West wings and the lovely surrounding outdoors, makes a perfect background for any picture. With the Capitol Building in the background, these pictures are absolutely picturesque

Great Falls National Park is perfect for outdoor photos with scenic views of waterfalls and wonderful greenery. Beautiful flowers, trees, and boulders make this outdoor engagement shoot the perfect background. The clean trails and wooded fences add a rustic vibe to this awesome engagement session.

This gorgeous wedding venue is located in the scenic and picturesque area of Bluemont, Virginia. The scenery consists of beautiful blue ridge mountains and the lush green countryside. The ceremony site has a wonderful view of the breathtaking, surrounding lands of Loudoun County. The reception site is perfect for a rustic chic wedding, with wooden walls and beams.

This stunning wedding venue is located in Sterling, Virginia, right along the Potomac River. It’s open landscape and lovely wooded forrest make it the absolutely perfect for a picturesque outdoor wedding. Their floor to ceiling windows, in their elegant ballroom, give guests a beautiful view to look out as the bride and groom share their first dance.

This stunning and picturesque wedding venue is located in the scenic valley of Stanley, Virginia. The ceremony site was down the hill where a beautiful arch and benches were found. The benches viewed the magnificent blue ridge mountains as the backdrop for the ceremony site. The rustic chic reception site was a beautiful wooden pavilion that overlooked the gorgeous mountains and Shenandoah valley. The Pavilion also has fun outdoor games for guests to play and a fire pit to light in the evening hours. 

This beautiful wedding venue is located right on the water in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The ceremony site has enchanting and stunning views overlooking the marina, also accompanied by a lovely white gazebo that is absolutely picturesque. The Crystal Ballroom was the perfect place for an elegant reception site. The large dance floor allows guests as well as the bride and groom to have a good time dancing the night away, while the large windows allow natural light to fill the room.

The Jefferson Memorial is a perfect place to take engagement photos during the early morning hours of a summer day. With the iconic Washington Monument and Tidal Basin in the background, these two lovebirds looked absolutely regal and elegant. The pillars of the Jefferson Memorial create a timeless and classic look for this lovely couple. 

This stunning and picturesque farm was perfect for Caitlin and Tim’s summer engagement session. The dusk lighting set the mood for a romantic and pleasant evening. The Poplar Barn, located on the property is a 200 year old barn, thats rustic charm was a perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. The owner of Sylvanside Farm, Jeff, asked if we’d like to bring out Jack, the Clydesdale, out for a photo and Caitlin lit up! This gorgeous and scenic farm was excellent for this engagement session. 

An early summer engagement shoot on the National Mall was a perfect fit for these two lovebirds. Though it can get crowded if you don’t stop by at the perfect time, we love the National Mall for elegant engagement portraits that can be as dressed up or casual as you like. Everyone looks great in front of the reflecting pool and at the Lincoln Memorial, but this morning we took a little side trip to get some awesome dramatic shots in front of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial as well.
