I was incredibly fortunate to be part of this breathtaking adventure bridal shoot with Utah Valley Bride! When they reached out to me about photographing an adventurous bridal session, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. As an elopement photographer, there’s nothing I love more than couples who are eager to explore unique locations and create epic, unforgettable images.
Our goal for this shoot was to demonstrate just how dramatic and awe-inspiring elopement photography can be when couples embrace a spirit of adventure. We chose a spectacular Utah location, perfectly suited to capture the essence of adventure elopements. To achieve the best possible lighting and atmosphere, we started our hike in the early hours, well before sunrise. The pre-dawn trek added a sense of excitement and anticipation, perfectly setting the stage for a memorable experience.
When we arrived at our scenic destination, we were greeted with incredible views, chilly temperatures, and powerful gusts of wind. I genuinely admired our models’ bravery and dedication; despite the freezing cold and strong winds, they maintained such grace and enthusiasm throughout the entire shoot. While the weather posed some challenges, the wind turned out to be a valuable ally, adding dramatic movement and dynamic energy to every photograph. As a photographer specializing in elopements, capturing these genuine, spontaneous moments was truly exhilarating.
