Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Santorini, Greece, for an unforgettable elopement photography session, and I was fortunate enough to have my wife by my side. Many people don’t know this, but she occasionally helps with hair and makeup for my clients, and she did an absolutely stunning job on the wedding day look for Megan and Deron. It was so special to be able to share this experience with her, as we worked together to capture this couple’s dream elopement.
Megan and Deron chose to elope just outside of Oia at a breathtaking private resort, and let me tell you—the views were beyond anything I could have imagined! The beauty of Santorini, with its whitewashed buildings, crystal-clear waters, and dramatic cliffs, was the perfect backdrop for their elopement. As an elopement photographer, there are certain moments that make you feel like you’re in a dream, and this was definitely one of those “pinch me” moments. From the intimate ceremony to the stunning portraits we captured throughout the day, every detail of this elopement felt like it was straight out of a fairytale.
The light, the atmosphere, and the couple’s genuine love made every shot come alive. It’s moments like these that truly make me appreciate the unique and personal experience of elopement photography. Megan and Deron’s connection was so pure, and it was amazing to document their love story against the iconic beauty of Santorini.
