Cherry Blossom Engagement Session
While the National Mall is a pretty popular spot for engagement shoots, there’s one time of year that it really shines for its romantic appeal: cherry blossom season. While it’s sometimes a little tricky to schedule a session around peak blooms, weather and the lovely couple’s schedule, it’s always worth the effort, every single time. The pink flowers, spring weather and magnificent white architecture all combine for a truly spectacular sight.

We really enjoyed watching Alexis and Terry “blossom” for the camera during their engagement session. Bad puns aside, we loved their initial charming sweetness, combined with their fierce confidence in some of the later shots.
