After chatting back and forth with Kathy about where to do her and her fiancés engagement shoot, she shot down my 5 clever ideas--and I was so happy she did. I appreciate when my clients have the opportunity to make such an important decision for their shoot, the location. It doesn't always have to be the most picture perfect backdrop, but more so the significance behind this particular "spot". In this instance Kathy and Andrew visited Gravelly Point Park for one of what would be many dates thereafter. If you are not familiar, it is a cool park tucked beside Regan National Airport. The planes take off right above your head!
Kathy & Andrew are an awesome couple. During the entire shoot they were making one another laugh - I mean literally making one another laugh non-stop... which I was thankful for because I didn't have to pull out any cheesy jokes. As we continued shooting the people passing in the park congratulated them on what they could tell was a couple with a sincere connection. It was an awesome Sunday to kick off the Fall. If their wedding is anything like this shoot it will make for a very memorable event.
Thanks Kathy & Andrew for an awesome day in the park!
